Our mission
The Toledo Rowing Club exists to help people discover rowing, develop their skills, care for the river and the equipment that make the sport possible, and build a community that can row together for years to come. The club maintains its own fleet of shells, oars, rowing machines, and coaching launch at the boathouse.
Club programs
Competitive and recreational rowing in the club's own fleet of singles, doubles, quads, and the eight. Row for fitness, race with a crew, or both.
No experience needed. Summer Learn to Row sessions teach the stroke, the boat, and the river, and are the most common path into club membership.
Summer sessions give young athletes a place to learn, train, and race with the club on the Maumee.
Membership
Membership is open to adults of all experience levels. Annual dues are $500: $350 club dues plus a $150 boat fee that covers use of the club fleet.
New rowers usually start with a Learn to Row session or a private lesson. Tell us where you are in your rowing journey and we'll get you started.
